See and Do
We are surrounded by natural beauty and great outdoor activities, such as surfing, hiking, biking, and kayaking. We are about a 15-minute drive to Muir Woods, a magnificent Redwood forest and a 25-minute drive to the Point Reyes National Seashore. Stinson has several restaurants, a bookstore, a surf shop and art galleries all within walking distance from the Sandpiper.

Muir Woods
National Monument is part of California’s Golden Gate National Recreation Area, north of San Francisco.
"Walk among old growth coast redwoods, cooling their roots in the freshwater of Redwood Creek and lifting their crowns to reach the sun and fog. Federally protected as a National Monument since 1908, this primeval forest is both refuge and laboratory, revealing our relationship with the living landscape."https://www.nps.gov/muwo/index.htm
