COVID-19 SPECIFIC POLICIES.

Guests and visitors will be screened upon arrival and asked to use hand sanitizer and to wear a face covering. Face coverings shall be provided to guests who arrive without them. The sandpiper reserves the right to cancel reservations for parties with symptomatic visitors.

ONE WEEK CANCELLATION POLICY.

Incoming guests can cancel their reservation up to 7 days prior to their check-in date without penalty. Cancellations within 7 days prior to the check-in date will result in the full room charge for all rooms and the number of nights reserved to the credit card on file. It is the responsibility of the booking party to both contact the hotel to cancel a reservation AND then to confirm that the cancellation is complete.

**A cancellation is NOT complete until the booking party receives a cancellation confirmation email.**

 

If you believe you have canceled a reservation, but have not received a cancellation confirmation email, then your reservation has not yet been canceled and you are still liable for the room charges AND it is your responsibility to contact the hotel to resolve the matter, complete the cancellation and get a cancellation confirmation email.

Cancellation Policy for Group Reservations is either Two Weeks or One Month depending on the number of rooms reserved.​

​RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE.

This property is privately owned and reserves the right to refuse service to anyone or to evict any registered guest at any time if deemed necessary without refund of room charge (reasons for eviction include but are not limited to: domestic violence, damage to hotel property, safety concerns, disturbance of other guests).

PAYMENT IN FULL DUE AT CHECK-IN.

VISA, Master Card, Cash, or travelers' checks are the only forms of payment we accept. If you are not here by 7:00 pm your credit card on file will be charged for the balance due in full.

DEPOSITS.

No deposit required on standard reservations. A 50% deposit is required on all Group Reservations.

NO PETS ALLOWED!

To help ensure a clean/allergy free lodging experience we do not allow pets at our hotel. Dogs are not allowed to be left in vehicles parked in our lot at any time. Anyone caught with a pet will be asked to leave, will be charged a minimum $100 additional cleaning fee, and will be charged full room amount.

GUIDE DOGS OK.

Certified "guide/service dogs" are allowed, but guests must present proof of the service dog's certification at check-in.

SANDPIPER POLICY FOR COMPLIANCE WITH ADA WEBSITE REQUIREMENTS.

It is the policy of Sandpiper Lodging at the Beach to continually update and maintain its website to ensure compliance with the ADA

requirements that the website identifies and describes as accessible features offered through its reservation service in enough detail to

reasonably permit individuals with disabilities to independently assess whether the Sandpiper can meet that individual’s accessibility needs. This policy shall remain as a permanent part of the Sandpiper’s website and shall not hereafter be rescinded.

 We have handicapped accessible parking near the entrance with sufficient room for a ramp. We do not have any rooms that do not require at least one step up. We do not have elevators. Our garden area is also accessible. The width of our doorways to the rooms are 34". The width of our doorways to the bathrooms are 27". We do not have a roll-in shower or a roll under sink. We do provide a shower stool if requested. All guest amenities can be lowered to accommodate the guest upon request.

NO SMOKING.

Smoking is not permitted inside any hotel building or within ten feet of an open door. Smoking is permitted in outside areas where ashtrays are provided. Please be considerate of other guests and non-smokers. Smoking inside our buildings will result in a minimum $100.00 additional cleaning fee charged to your credit card on file.

MUST BE 25 YEARS OF AGE AND HAVE A VALID CREDIT CARD.

All persons renting a room must be at least 25 years of age and must have a valid VISA or Master Card credit card. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Parents cannot book rooms for their children to use without their accompanying them during the entire stay.

 

GROUP BOOKINGS.

All bookings over 3 rooms are considered a group booking.  You must call the office and make a group booking and put down a 50% deposit that will be refunded on the day of your event.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY/NO PARTIES.

For safety reasons, each room has a maximum person occupancy that cannot be exceeded (kids ages 2 and up count). Group gatherings of individuals other than registered hotel guests are not permitted.

ROLLAWAY BEDS & EXTRA PERSON CHARGE.

An extra person (kids included) OR use of the rollaway bed in Rooms will result in a $20.00 per night additional charge.

DAMAGED OR LOST PROPERTY.

Guests will be charged on their credit card on file for any damaged or lost hotel property that occurred during their stay.

INJURY OR LOSS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY.

The hotel will not be held responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, jewelry, or personal possessions of any kind during their stay. It is the responsibility of each departing guest to check to make sure they have all their possessions before checking out. We do have a lost & found, so if you leave something behind feel free to call and check whether we have it, but we cannot guarantee.

UNAUTHORIZED LATE CHECKOUTS.

Check out time is 11:00 am. Hotel staff reserves the right to remove any belongings left in the room after this time and will not be held liable for any damage or loss of personal possessions. Unauthorized late checkouts will result in an additional one night's room rent charge to your credit card on file.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT.

Check-in time is 3:00 pm. We cannot guarantee early check-ins. Check out time is 11:00 am. We cannot guarantee late check-outs.
