glide off Mt. Tam. A 40th birthday surprise for my hubby.

Great hiking and dining 
"Second time here in February - to celebrate "another trip
around the sun," relax & recharge... Everything was
just as cozy and wonderful as last year, but the weather
was perfect this time! Our day long hike on Mt. Tam was
filled with constantly changing terrain, gorgeous views
& unexpected delights like the Mountain Theater off the
Bootjack Trail and the primeval beauty and magical
waterfalls on the Steep Ravine Trail. Breakfast &
dinner at the Parkside Cafe was fabulous (as before...)
Looking forward to next year's visit."

Trail - 5 hours later we arrived in Stinson! So wonderful
to walk into this clean, comfy room!! What a surprise.
After showers we indulged ourselves at the Parkside Cafe.

comfy, cozy well-provided-for room in as beautiful spot in
this world, long walks on the beach, napping, reading and
tea in the garden, flowers, hummingbirds and the sound of
waves breaking nearby. The Parkside is always a favorite
place to eat so I indulged myself shamelessly. I hope to be
back soon and often now that I have discovered you after
many years.

gem to find at the close of a nice long day in Napa Valley!
Our two day stay here is a great respite between the bustle
of San Francisco and the drive to Carmel tomorrow. The room
is so comfortable + tastefully appointed. And the fireplace
just adds to the casual warmth. Stinson Beach Grill seafood
was great, and Parkside breakfast also. Thanks for the good
memories to add to our 2nd
wedding

lovely wife and precious 2-1/2 year old can't believe we
have to go at the crack of dawn tomorrow. We feel as though
we could pass a week in this Shangri-la quite happily. The
mix of almost primordial beach and vast precipitous
wilderness with outrageous views is irresistible! It's been
nothing but "ooh" and "oh my God!" for two days. This is a
lovely place to stay. We were fooled by the ramshackle
insoucience at first, but it's beautifully cared for, and
