From San Francisco: Head
north across the Golden Gate Bridge. Take Shoreline
Highway (Highway 1) Stinson Beach exit. You will pass
Muir Beach and Muir Woods in abut 15 minutes and in
another 15 minutes you will come to Stinson Beach.
(Panoramic Highway splits from HIghway 1 just after you
leave the residential area and rejoins it at Stinson
Beach. Both routes take about the same amount of time.)
Take first left on Arenal, just before the firehouse, as
you come into town. We're at the corner of Marine Way,
on your left.
From Mill Valley: Take
Panoramic Highway over beautiful Mt.Tamalpais into
Stinson Beach (about 30 minutes). Turn right at the stop
sign on Shoreline Highway (Highway 1) at the bottom of
the hill as you come into Stinson Beach, then take the
first left on Arenal (just before the firehouse). We're
at the corner of Marine Way, on your left.
From Highway One North of Stinson Beach:
Take Shoreline Highway (Highway 1) south to Stinson Beach.
Turn right on Calle del Mar at the stop sign between the
town park and the grocery store. Follow the road as it
turns into Arenal past the Parkside Restaurant to continue
the end of the block. We're on the corner on your
right.
From
Bolinas: Paddle southeast
till you hit sand.
